PURPOSE:A lipid microsphere, containing various optionally usable drugs and 1-dodecylhexahydro-2H-azepin-2-one as active ingredients without using soybean oil as an oil layer and having improved drug effect. CONSTITUTION:A liquid microsphere containing drugs and 1-dodecylhexahydro-2 H-azepin-2-one (hereinafter abbreviated as AZONE). The AZONE is a colorless transparent liquid with low stimulation and considered to be a chemically bonded substance of pyrrolidone with methyldecyl sulfoxide. Such as soybean oil and eicosapentaenoic acid can be used by being mixed therewith. The amount of the AZONE to be used is most preferably at least 50wt% based on the total mixture. The titled substance is obtained by mixing a specific amount of AZONE with drugs and heating to make them a solution, and homogenizing them to form a water-in-oil type emulsion, further adding water and homogenizing to make an oil-in-water type emulsion.
