This safety locking device, especially for shutters, comprises a fitting 6 which is designed to be fastened to a shutter and on which a locking bar 8 is articulated, this locking bar being capable of being received and retained by a member 9 fastened to another shutter adjacent to the first. There is, furthermore, a stop 16 fastened to the fitting 6 in order to limit the angular displacement of the locking bar 8, and there are means for blocking the latter in the locked position, which comprise two loops 13, of which one is fastened to a tab 12 of the fitting 6 and the other to the locking bar 8, in such a way that, in the locked position of the latter, a padlock can connect these two loops 13 so as to block the locking bar 8. <IMAGE>
