The invention relates to a three-layer product, which is thermally insulating, impermeable to gases such as water vapour (air humidity) and printable, and its manufacturing process. The production of this laminate is achieved by hot pressing a polystyrene foam sheet 1 between a paper sheet 2 and an aluminium foil (sheet) 3, both of them being precoated with a hot-melt adhesive on their surface facing the polystyrene foam. This laminate combines thermal insulation, gas impermeability, stiffness, lightness, shock absorbency and printability. <IMAGE>
