PURPOSE:To enable to impregnate highly densified reinforcing fibers with resin without developing void and cutting the fibers by a method wherein the reinforcing fibers are pressed from one side with a pressing member in a vessel and the resin is supplied from the other side of the vessel and further deaeration by suction is applied from the pressing member side. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the predetermined amount of reinforcing fibers 29 is charged in a vessel 1. Secondly, a pressing member 12 is lowered by sending compressed air so as to press the reinforcing fibers 29 downwards in order to bring the reinforcing fibers 29 into uniformly densified state. In addition, when the density of the fibers is determined by controlling the pressing force, an air valve 14 is closed in order to lock the pressing state. Thirdly, a resin pump 17 and a suction pump 27 are put into actuation so as to force resin 19 in a tank 20 in the lower part of a vessel 1 and to apply evacuating force through a suction passage 21 to the interior of the vessel 1. As a result, because the reinforcing fibers 29 are gradually impregnated from its lower part with the resin 19 and deaerated by suction, the resin 31 mixed with reinforcing fibers and with no void can be manufactured.
