PURPOSE:To prevent a power source from uselessly consuming its power in a spectacles type dose preventing device worn by the driver, for detecting his dose, by providing a switch means which establishes a feed circuit path when it is worn by the driver. CONSTITUTION:When the driver wears spectacles 1 to start to drive a vehicle, power switches 2a, 2b made of press-conductive rubber disposed in parts 4a, 4b which abuts against the driver's nose are pressed so that they turn on. Then, a voltage from a battery 4 incorporated in a control circuit box 5 is, after being charged into a capacitor 109 through the switches 2a, 2b, fed through a resistance 111 to a Zener diode 113 which sets the voltage at a constant voltage for supply power fed to a dose detecting and alarming circuit 6. Then the circuit 6 transmits, for example, a near infrared electromagnetic wave having a specific waveform to the driver' eyes, and the reflected wave therefrom is received by a signal receiver/transmitter section 3 delivering a signal which is analyzed by a control section 8 for detecting the driver's dose and for issuing an alarm signal.
