It relates to an easily removable appliance, which can be mounted on a workshop vice and allows folding operations on small-sized metal sheets. It is composed of two parts, one being placed on the fixed jaw F and the other on the moving jaw M. The two components comprise a horizontal part I which is placed on the upper parts of the jaws, and a vertical part 2 which rests on the faces on the gap side. In general, the component encoded F carries the female die 3, the other the male die assembly 5-6. Locking screws perform the assembly. As a variant provision may be made, instead of constituting a block, as in the figure, for a tool to be available which is mounted on a separate tool carrier. Dies allowing the bending of small tubes using conventional methods may also be envisaged. <IMAGE>
