PURPOSE:To provide the titled copolymer having specific melt flow rate, content of propylene-ethylene random copolymer block and density of propylene homopolymer block, having high transparency, rigidity and impact strength and suitable for forming a film. CONSTITUTION:Propylene is homopolymerized in a polymerization reactor charged with a polymerization solvent such as heptane, a catalyst composed of diethylaluminum chloride and titanium trichloride, etc., and a stereoregularity- improving agent such as methyl benzoate. After the homopolymerization, ethylene is charged to the reactor and copolymerized to obtain the objective copolymer having a melt flow rate (230 deg.C/2.16kg load) of 0.1-100g/10min and containing (A) 60-95pts.wt. of propylene homopolymer block having a density of >=0.9080g/cm<3> and (B) 40-5pts.wt. of propylene-ethylene random copolymer block having an ethylene content of 1-10wt%.
