PICTURE DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR 3-DIMENSIONAL BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the distinctnes of a boundary line by convoluting picture elements around the boundary lines except the contour of a 3-dimensional body picture to smooth the density and blurring the boundary line in the fixed width. CONSTITUTION:A picture processing part 31 blurs a boundary line 36 by obtaining the average (dij) of the density of the element planes at both sides of the line 36. Then this average value is set to a mean density regiter 34. The picture element addresses of a blur processing area 37 which are delivered from a blur line generator 33 are given successively to an image memory 35. Then the mean density dij set at the registere34 is written to each address. The area 37 is set to each picture element on the line 36 and the mean density dij is written on the memory 35. Thus the boundary line of a 3-dimensional body picture is blurred in the optional width to make it inconspicuous. As a result, a 3-dimensional body can be shown in its natural form.
