PURPOSE:To inform the existence of a message wait by a voice by constituting the titled device so that it is known in a telephone set of the other party that a telephone is received previously, by a prescribed operation determined in advance in case when the other party is absent. CONSTITUTION:When the second telephone set 2 is busy or absent, a busy or ring-back tone is transmitted to the first telephone set from an electronic exchange 3. In this state, when an operation for a message wait determined in advance is executed by using the first telephone set, the electronic exchange 3 detects it, and a telephone set, the electronic exchange 3 detects it, and a telephone number of the first telephone set 1 is stored in a memory device 4. When the telephone set 2 is brought to off-hook in a state that the telephone number of the telephone set 1 is stored in the memory device 4, the electronic exchange detects is, reads out the telephone number of the telephone set 1, stored in the memory device 4, detects whether it is addressed to the telephone set 2 or not, and transmits it to a voice synthesizing equipment 5. In this device, said telephone number is converted to a voice and transmitted to the second telephone set 2. |
