PURPOSE:To improve control feeling by the method wherein an eccentric cam of coupling a control arm with a swing lever is formed in a shape in that a stroke ratio of a gear stroke to a rod stroke is decreased during engagement. CONSTITUTION:A control arm 40 is coupled to an eccentric cam hole 49 of a swing lever 41 though a cam roller situated on the outer periphery of a coupling pin 45, and a cam roller 51 is moved along the inner surface of the cam hole 49 through the rotation of the control arm 40 to swing the swing lever 41. The eccentric hole 49 is so structured that a variable stroke ratio of the gear stroke of a reverse idler gear 16 to the rod stroke of a reverse shift blacket 39 is provided, and a circular arc having centers O3 and O4 is included on the reverse side of the control arm 40, and this forms a stroke ratio in which the gear stroke is decreased over the rod stroke.
