A transport cart (10) for surfboards (12) comprises two inverted-U-shaped bars (14, 16), the upper cross-struts (24, 28) of which in each case form a support for the surfboard (12) and the lateral limbs (20, 22) of which cross each other and are connected to each other by joints (18), and two wheels (40) arranged on the lower ends of the limbs (22) of one bar (16). The cross-struts (24, 26) are connected to each other by a sagging tarpaulin (48) and the joints (18) can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the limbs (20) at least of one bar (14) in such a manner that the transport cart (10) can be converted into a deck-chair, the sitting area of which is formed by the tarpaulin (48). <IMAGE>
