Frequency/voltage converter

A frequency/voltage converter followed by a voltage-controlled low-pass filter, the output of which is connected to the control input, either directly or via a control circuit, as a result of which the residual ripple of the output signal occurring in the lower frequency range is minimised. This circuit is applied in speedometers, tachogenerators, speed control circuits and so forth.
