PURPOSE:To make analysis at the time of occurrence of an error easily by trace displaying information such as execution time, execution level, completion status etc. executed by a CPU in a form of a timer chart and displaying execution hysteresis of a task. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 4a executes a task by request from an execution managing section 4d, the time until the execution task is switched is counted by an execution time counting section 4f, and information such as execution time, execution level, completion status etc. of the task is stored in a task execution trace memory 4g at the time of switching. On the other hand, when requested by an operating section 2 of a program debugging device 1 side, the task execution trace memory reading section 1d reads the contents of the task execution trace memory 4g of a stored program type arithmetic controlling unit 4 side through an interface 1a, and converts to expression of time chart form by a task execution trace display section 1e, and displays in a display section 3.
