PURPOSE:To facilitate the easy production of a program and to improve both a control speed and a control characteristics, by providing plural pairs of registers, comparators and arbitration/selection means, therefore setting the conditions of the write/read address to a storage device. CONSTITUTION:The branch conditions are held by condition registers 4, 6, 8 and 10 respectively of an electronic computer control system. While the jump addresses are held by jump address registers 5, 7, 9 and 11 respectively. The branch conditions of the registers 4-10 are compared with internal states of a flag register 1 and an instruction pointer 2 through comparators 12-15 for detection of satisfaction of the branch conditions. The results of comparison of comparators 12-15 are added to an arbitration circuit 16 and the arbitration conditions of the circuit 16 are given to a selector 17. The selector 17 selects the jump addresses given from registers 5-11. This facilitates the easy produc tion of a program, and improves the control speed and the control charac teristics.
