A plug coupling for pressure-tight connection to a device which has a connection, having a cylindrical housing, a piston which can be displaced therein and, on its part projecting out of the housing, has clamping jaws which can be displaced radially over an inclined-surface arrangement in the case of axial displacement between the housing and piston, and having a device which exerts a pressure against the rear end face of the piston located in the housing, a compression spring (20) being arranged between the inner wall of the housing (12) and the rear end of the piston (14), which compression spring (20) pulls the piston (14) into the interior of the housing (12) if the device which exerts the pressure becomes ineffective, the clamping jaws (26) being positively guided into their engagement position. <IMAGE>
