<p>PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of an oil seal structure for the equipment of a pressing plate by constituting the captioned apparatus so that the pressing plate installed inside at the right and left of a piston presses and joins frictional plates by a cam mechanism, on the outside at the right and a left of the frictional plate. CONSTITUTION:A brake arm 22 is fixed at the part of a torque pin 10 projecting sideways outside a chassis from a brake case 7. When a parking operating member is operated to a brake-use position, the brake arm 22 turns the torque pin 10 through a rod 23 which operates, interlocking with the parking operating member. Therefore, a pressing plate 11 is pushed rightward through the operation of a cam mechanism 24, and the press-joining operation of the frictional plates 8 and 9 by the pressing plate 11 similar to the case of the rightward pushing of the pressing plate 11 by a piston 15 is performed, and a wheel pinion shaft 4 is applied with brake.</p> |
