PURPOSE:To attain the accurate measurement of real time processing and the performance of a microprocessor circuit, by using a circuit which is set and reset by an instruction field set for the purpose of the measurement of performance and the control of hardware for maintenance and control. CONSTITUTION:When the time is measured between statements A and B of a microprogram, a trigger start instruction is produced in a trigger field of a microinstruction of the statement A. Then a trigger stop instruction is produced by an instruction of a statement B. Thus an FF 20 is set with execution of the statement A and reset with execution of the statement B. The output signal of the FF 20 is measured by a measuring instrument connected to a measuring terminal 21 and also can be displayed via a display circuit 24. |
