PURPOSE:To prevent the titled device from going its communication impossible by a time monitor, by providing a means for inspecting an attribute data out by a facsimile equipment and a delimiting part of an original, and sending out a signal for making a non-communication monitor of the facsimile device wait. CONSTITUTION:An optical signal which is sent from an adjacent node is converted to an electric signal by an O/E converting circuit 21 and inputted to a repeating circuit 22. The repeating circuit 22 makes the electric signal branch to a high speed converting circuit 24 and sends it out, and also sends it to an /O converting circuit 23. When a node of the other party of transmission is designated through an interface circuit 25 from a facsimile device 28, a controlling circuit 26 designates the other party node to a frame header and outputs a communication request to a monitor node, when a frame has arrived at the repeating circuit 22 through the high speed converting circuit 24. The controlling circuit 25 sends out a waiting signal for making the non-communication monitor wait, through the interface circuit 25, in case when a data sent out from the facsimile equipment 28 is an attribute, and also in case when it is detected that one sheet portion of an original sent out completely.
