PURPOSE:To make it possible to cook individually by the operation of one key, by distinguishing kinds of objects of heating during cooking with an oven according to a change in output signals of a sensor to elapsed time, providing automatically heating temperatures and time for an oven suitable for the objects of heating. CONSTITUTION:When the 'OVEN OMAKASE KEY' (OMAKASE: leave everything to equipment) is pressed and, without selecting dishes, a starting key for heating is pressed to turn a plate, objects of heating, 7a-7d, placed thereon also turns. Next, a light-emitting element being put to emit light, the time during which an output of a transistor, which fluctuates in response to the input to a light-receiving element 13, remains on a level of 'H' (a level when a light-receiving element 13 is shaded by the objects, 7a-7d) is read into a main control circuit. The output signal fluctuates as the plate turns, where number of times of such repetition of fluctuation on H/L level being calculated and memorized in the main control circuit. By sensing the frequency when the objects of heating, 7a-7d, are shaded, said dishes during oven cooking can be distinguished, so that oven heating can be carried out under conditions of temperature and time adequate for each dishes of menu, 7a-7d.
