PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively erase an errorneous printing part, by arranging a recording transfer ribbon at a recording position at the time of recording to perform printing in such a state that a ribbon peel-off angle is set to a certain one and arranging an erasing transfer ribbon at the recording part at the time of the erasion of erroneous printing while setting the ribbon peel-off angle to separate one. CONSTITUTION:When usual transfer recording is applied to recording paper 13, the rotation of a ribbon selector 1 is controlled to allow a recording transfer 6 to oppose to the heat generating part of a thermal head 4 and take-up driving force is applied only to the recording transfer ribbon 6 to perform desired transfer recording. When erroneous printing was generated, the rotation of the ribbon selector 14 is controlled to allow an erasing transfer ribbon 7 to oppose to the heat generating part of the thermal head 4 and take-up driving force is applied only to the erasing transfer ribbon 7 to perform desired lift-off. Further, a peel-off angle alpha for recording and a tape peel-ff angle beta for erasion are set so as to respectively take optimum values. |
