PURPOSE:To permit the use for a long period even with high temperature steam on one side and air on the other side by forming the high-temperature water side of a seal ring from the waterproof and steamproof rubber and the high temperature air side from heat-resisting resin. CONSTITUTION:The high-temperature air 6 side part 3a of a seal ring 3 has a U-ring shape and is made of heat-resisting resin such as PTFE, and an inside lip 8 is press-attached onto the bottom of an annular groove 4, and an outer peripheral lip 9 is press-attached onto the inner surface of a cylinder 1. The high-temperature water side part 3b of the seal ring 3 has an O-ring shape for back-up, and is made of waterproof and steamproof rubber such as EPM and EPDM. The seal ring part 3a made of the heat-resisting resin contacts with the high-temperature air through a gap 5 at all times.
