<p>This invention relates to the field of sandblasting, in particular, to a feed system for dry or wet sandblasting. There is an overall need for such a system wherein low dispersion of sand and dust is achieved, and flow through the blast line is maximized. The invention comprises a pneumatically operated chemical injector (52) for injecting a measured amount of chemical dust inhibitor into a water tank (12) for subsequent metering into an abrasive flow line (60). A sand pot (70) provides a source pressurized sand into the main sandblasting line and a connector member (80) within the sandblast line regulator the delivery of the sand, air and water slurry to the nozzle. Continuous feed of blastant to the nozzle is achieved.</p> |
