PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of the titled recording material, by using specific benzene as the sensitizer in the titled recording material utilizing color- forming reaction between a leuco dye and a developer. CONSTITUTION:As the sensitizer in a thermal recording material utilizing color- forming reaction between a leuco dye and a developer, p-dicyclohexylbenzene is used pref. in an amount of 0.1-10pts. by wt. of 1pts. of the leuco dye. The leuco dye is adapted alone or as a mixture of two or more kinds and, for exam ple, triphenylmethane, fluorane or indophthalide leuco dyes are pref. used. The leuco dye is pref. used in an amount of 1-10pts. by wt. of 1pts. of a coupler and, as the developer, various electron acceptive substances forming a color through the reaction with the leuco dye under heating are adapted and a pheno lic substance, an org. or inorg. acidic substance or ester thereof are designated. |
