PURPOSE:To enable a highly accurate marking work to be performed in a short time by constructing such that a laser beam is irradiated in longitudinal and lateral, two-dimensional directions by a laser beam irradiation gun through a motor with an encoder. CONSTITUTION:An operator mounts a laser beam irradiation gun 1 in front of an interior wall surface (a) and carries a radio transmitting actuator 7. A signal from the actuator 7 is inputted as an operator signal for a microcomputer 5 and rotary angles stored in the computer 5 and corresponding to a laser beam projection point on the wall surface to be marked are outputted from the computer 5 to motors 2 and 3 with encoders on the sides of vertical and horizontal rotations, respectively. In this case, the operator is on standby in a position near a projected laser beam spot and, by marking the position of the spot, the operator can sequentially continue a marking work for the wall surface (a). Thus, a highly accurate marking work can be performed by only one operator in a short time.
