PURPOSE:To adjust the density of each color with simple constitution through easy operation by providing a density adjusting means which is used in common among respective colors and an adjusting means for density balance adjustment, and controlling a developing bias. CONSTITUTION:A density adjusting part 730 adjusts the copy densities of red and black at the same time normally with a density adjusting lever 731 which is used in common between two colors. This density adjusting lever 731 is slidable along a groove 732 to make a density adjustment corresponding to graduations 1-9. Further, a density balance adjusting part 740 increases the density of red to and from black by the sliding of a balance adjusting lever 741 in a groove 742. The balance adjusting lever 74 is normally at a standard position and when a copy mode is entered with a two-color copy button at this time, development is carried out while black and red have the same bias value.
