<p>A long self-carrier element (1) is formed of a framework consisting of metal sections (7-9-10-11-14-15) and an insulating cover (16) supported by said framework. The element is characterized in that its cover (16) is monobloc and is formed of a composite consisting of an outer skin (17), an inner skin (18) and an insulating mattress (19) made up with mineral wool fibres which extend perpendicularly to the parallel planes of the skins. The cover (16) is exclusively supported by the two side beams (9, 10) of the framework.</p> |
