Extendable impact contact

The invention relates to a device for extending the impact contact of shaped charges for fuzed triggering which, in the quiescent position, is supported in the recess of the shaped charge, and maintains the fuzing separation from the target (which is required for optimum shape-charge performance) by means of an extendable spacer, which is accomplished by means of a piezo-generator and a pyrotechnic propulsion charge. Exemplary embodiments are explained.
