PURPOSE:To establish a photosensitive material processing method using no rinse water and reduced in energy cost and environmental pollution control cost by incorporating a specified coupler and a specified compd., and adding the specified amt. of thiosulfate in the color-developed photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains one of cyan couplers represented by formulae I, II, and III (one of R, R1 is H and the other is 2-12 C alkyl; R2, R3 are each a ballasting group; and Y is -COR4; R4 is halogen or the like) and one of compds. represented by formulae IV and V (X1 is H or -OZ1; Z1 is H, sulfonyl acyl, or the like; R6-R8 are each H, halogen cyano, or the like; and R10-R13 are each H, alkyl, or the like), and after it is color developed, thiosulfate is added to this photosensitive material in the amt. of >=0.1mug per cm<2>, thus permitting rinse water and energy used for its temp. control to be made unnecessary, and environmental pollution control cost to be reduced, and the fading of a magenta dye image stored under the irradiation of the rays of the light for a long period to be alleviated. |
