PURPOSE:To enable a high speed printing by applying a reversed electric current which suppresses protrusion in impact direction to a demagnetizing coil corresponding to the wire which is not selected for recording. CONSTITUTION:A recording head is provided with a speed acceleration coil 8 and, at the same time, a demagnetizing coil 3 is connected to diagonals of the bridge consisting of transistors T1-T4 to be able to be excited in both directions. The transistors T2 and T3 for the eraser coil of print wires not selected are turned ON, and on the other hand, T1 and T4 are turned OFF to excite the demagnetizing coil for the negative direction. Thus, the eraser coil for the print wire not selected is excited in the negative direction, therefore, the excitation energy of the speed acceleration coil 8 in the positive direction can be increased. In view of the above, a high speed printing may be further accelerated. |
