PURPOSE:To record and reproduce many kinds of video signals having different contents by increasing the travelling speed of a magnetic tape up to (2n-1) times a reference speed (n is an integer more than 2). CONSTITUTION:When the travelling speed of the magnetic tape 3 is increased up to three times, a guard band to be a wide unrecorded part corresponding to two channels is generated between magnetized loci a1, b1 due to magnetic heads A1, B1. Many kinds of video signals having different contenst can be recorded and reproduced by using said band effectively. |
