<p>PURPOSE:To set a skip section easily and accurately by confirming the skip section in a two-point repeat mode prior to the recording of a skip mark. CONSTITUTION:When an operation button PBS for a skip mark is pressed during repeat operation, a system controller commands a reel motor control circuit 16b to rewind a tape. In this case, when a position information comparing means 208 judges that the tape reaches the start point SR of a repeat section, the tape is reproduced under the command of the system controller. The reproduction state continues until the tape reaches the end point FR of the repeat section. Consequently, a user confirms with the playback sound whether or not the start point SS and end point FS of the skip section coincide with the start point SR and end point FR of the repeat section. Thus, when the operation button PBS is pressed after the skip section is confirmed, a series of skip bits outputted by a skip mark means 310 are recorded in a specific area on the tape.</p> |
