PURPOSE:To facilitate boring, secure high dimensional accuracy and contrive an improvement in molding properties, by processing an insertion hole of an insert material after a skin layer, which is an inner layer, and a core layer, which is a syntactic foam, have been unified. CONSTITUTION:After a skin layer 2, which is an inner layer, has been formed through a filament winding (FW) method, a core material molded beforehand is stuck 3 over the same, then an insertion hole 7 of an insertion material is provided in an obtained laminate and the insertion material 6 is inserted and stuck here. Then the cylindrical laminate is inserted into a mold 11, round which a continuous fiber impregnated with resin is wound through the FW method, cured and molded, a hole 5 is bored in the insertion material 6 laminating a skin layer 4, which is an outer layer, and including the skin layer 4 finally and a sandwich cylindrical material 1 provided with a hole is obtained. As boring of a syntactic foam core is performed after unification with the skin layer 2, which is the inner layer, fragility of the core is not linked with inferiority in boring properties and manufacturing is facilitated.
