PURPOSE:To obviate troubles arising from skewing of a paper, by correcting a skew of the paper when feeding the paper at non-printing time, in a continuous copying operation after a rolled form paper is once set. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism for pressing a line head 3 against a platen roller 2 through a paper at printing time and levitating the head 3 from the paper at non-printing time is provided, and a mechanism for pressing the paper 5 against the platen roller 2 by two small width rollers 9, 10 disposed symmetrically near both ends of the width of the paper is provided. The pressing force of the rollers 9, 10 is so set that a paper-feeding force generated by only one of the rollers is insufficient to overcome a braking force exerted by a paper- supplying part holding the rolled paper 5 set therein and is capable of barely feeding the paper accompanied by slipping, while a paper-feeding force generated by both of the rollers is sufficient to overcome the braking force thereby feeding the paper, and a skew of the paper is corrected by appropriate feeding of the paper at non-printing time.
