<p>PURPOSE:To clean up dirt speedily without damaging a magnetic head with low hardness by incorporating specific magnetic alloy powder as abrasives in a cleaning layer and specifying the mean roughness of a surface and the stiffness of a tape. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning tape is provided with the cleaning layer which has abrasives dispersed in a coupler on a base. The base uses a synthetic resin film of polypropylene and metallic foil of Al and its thickness is preferably 8-2mum. Then, the tape has necessary strength and low stiffness preferably, and the stiffness is <=2, preferably, <=1.8. The mean roughness of a center line when the cutoff value of the cleaning layer is 0.08mm is preferably >=0.025.</p> |
