摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a titled thin steel sheet exhibiting high ductility and (r) value in a process for rolling a low-carbon steel to a prescribed sheet thickness by subjecting the steel to warm rolling at a specific high straining rate then to recrystallization annealing. CONSTITUTION:The low-carbon steel is finished at 800-300 deg.C and >=300s<-1> straining rate (epsilon') and under the conditions satisfying the equation II for the threshold straining rate (epsilon'c) conforming to the equation I in at least one pass in the stage of rolling said steel to the prescribed sheet thickness. T in the equation I is the rolling temp. (K). The resulted thin steel sheet is subjected to the recrystallization annealing in succession thereto. The thin steel sheet exhibiting the high ductility and (r) value and having the excellent ridging resistance and tensile rigidity is obtd. by according to the above-mentioned method by eliminating the need for the conventional cold rolling stage.
