PREPARATION OF MAGNETIC COAT

PURPOSE:To prepare a magnetic coat having a good dispersing state within a short time, by separately setting the mutual crossing frequency of rods at the time when the value of the ratio V1/V2 of the peripheral speed V1 at the leading end of a rotor rod and the peripheral speed V2 at the root of the rod is 1.5 or more and at the time when 1.5 or less. CONSTITUTION:Beads as a dispersing aid medium and a magnetic coat mixed liquid are allowed to fill the cylindrical container 2 of a pin type mill 1 and a large number of rods 5 are provided to the inside wall of the cylindrical container 3 and the outer periphery of a rotor 4 at equal intervals so as to be crossed to each other. The mutual crossing frequency of said rods 5 is separately set at the time when the value of the ratio V1/V2 of the peripheral speed V1 at the leading end of each rotor rod and peripheral speed V2 at the root thereof is 1.5 or more and at the time when 1.5 or less. By this method, a magnetic coat having a good dispersing state is obtained within a short time as compared with a conventional one in a range having no effect from the aspect of bead abrasion and magnetic characteristics.
