PUNCH PRESS MACHINE MOUNTED WITH LASER CUTTING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To make possible the quick and smooth ejection of a cut piece having a large area toward the underside of a sheet metal carrying table below a laser beam processing head by providing said head in the anterior position of a punching head and providing a freely openable and closable window to said table. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 27 is extended to move a movable table 3 in the direction apart from a lower turret 2l to form a window space 25 in the stage of starting a laser beam processing operation. A receiving base device 29 is then raised to form a sheet metal supporting surface continuous with the moved table 3 in a horizontal plate 36 part. A sheet metal W which is grasped to a work holder 1 and moves on the sheet metal supporting surface is at the same time subjected to cutting by the laser beam processing head 9. The cylinder is contracted to incline the movable plate part so that the cut piece glides on the inclining chute-shaped movable plate upon completion of cutting. The cut piece is discharged by a discharge conveyor disposed right under said plate into a recovering box on the outside of the machine.
