PURPOSE:To simplify the fine adjustment of an action position and to facilitate its setting work by setting a reference resistance value corresponding to the action position by means of an action position setting part formed with a variable resistance. CONSTITUTION:The variable resistance VR2 of the action position setting part 3 sets the reference resistance value. Due to the A direction movement of a subject X to be tested, a voltage in proportion to a reference value between terminals (b) and (c) of the variable resistance VR1 of a converting part 2 is outputted. When said voltage is smaller than the voltage in proportion to the reference resistance value between terminals (b) and (c) of the resistance VR2, which is outputted by the setting part 3, a comparing and discriminating part 4 generates a detection output. It inverts a relay contact due to the relay action of an output part 5, thereby obtaining the detection output of the subject. Accordingly only the operation of the resistance VR2 enables easily the fine adjustment of the action position, and the setting work of the action position can be facilitated.
