PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture process, by filling a sintered metallic micropowder as an electrode on a side of a porous conductive plate, and keeping a porous layer on the other side. CONSTITUTION:The composite constituent element a has a porous metallic electrode layer 22 which is formed by filling sintered metallic micropowder on one side of a porous conductive plate 21, and a porous layer 23 keeping the original porous property on the other side. Therefore, one side of the composite material A can function as an electrode, the porous layer on the other side can be used as a passage of fuel or oxidization agent, and moreover, the conductive porous plate itself can be used as a current collector as a conductor to the separator. In other words, the composite constituent element A has multiple and composite functions including as an electrode, a gas passage for fuel or oxidixation agent, and a current collector. |
