PURPOSE:To obtain the structure of a wristwatch resistant to impact by supporting elastically an electromechanical transducer or an oscillating body supporting a touch needle so that the center of motion of the touch needle can be displaced with an amplitude wider than that for the use. CONSTITUTION:A transducer 2 shown in a figure A is supported elastically by a bellows type supporting spring 24 provided for the dust-proof property and the sweat-proof property and is so constituted that the whole of the transducer 2 recedes upward when a touch needle 23 strikes against the center of the transducer. In the transducer 2 shown in a figure B, the touch needle 23 is provided in front ends of two cantilever type piezoelectric element layer-built bodies 26, and driving voltages are supplied to individual piezoelectric elements to attain great displacement in the front end. The root of this transducer is supported by a bellows or diaphragm type elastic body 24 consisting of rubber or the like, thereby not only securing a normal extent of projection of the touch needle 23 but also preventing the principal part of the transducer 2 from being broken even in case of considerable receding. |
