PURPOSE:An antifouling plate showing effects free from occurrence of electrolytic corrosion even by direct lining to an outer plate of ships, etc., capable of keeping stain resistance for a long period, obtained by setting cord pieces of specific flexible material on the stain-resistant face of a sheet plate at prescriber intervals, mutually. CONSTITUTION:Cord pieces of a flexible synthetic resin material such as nylon, etc., having such flexibility as to be bent by water flow or be wave, etc., are preferably connected to sponge balls at the tips of the cords and the cords are set at prescribed intervals, mutually, on the stain-resistant face of a sheet plate to give an antifouling plate which prevents organisms in water from attaching themselves to the plate. The antifouling plate is directly lined to an outer plate of ship, an underwater part of marine structure, sea water piping, a buoy, a marker buoy, etc. EFFECT:Since the cord pieces are always rotated by sea water flow, wave, etc., and rub the surface of an antifouling plate, attachment of organisms such as marine organisms can be prevented, no pollution problems occur and there is no reduction in the antifouling plate caused by corrosion even by long-term use. |
