PURPOSE:To improve the yield of welding by connecting the part of a jig where materials to be welded are rested to a dust collector through a suction duct. CONSTITUTION:A circular groove 13 mating with a shell central hole 3a and a long groove 14 mating with a hole 3b of a window are respectively provided to the rest part 12 of the jig 11. The suction duct 15 of the dust collector 16 is connected to one side face of the jig 11 communicated with the grooves 13, 14. Shells 3, 3' are placed on the shell rest part 12 and the dust collector 16 is driven in the stage of welding the shells by the ultrasonic oscillation from a horn 10. The dust generated from the shells 3, 3' and liner, etc. is sucked through the grooves 13, 14 connected to the central hole 3a and core hole 3b and the suction duct 15 to the collector 16. A magnetic sheet 12 held between the liners is thus prevented from picking up the dust and therefore the yield of welding the materials to be welded is improved.
