<p>According to the invention, this device comprises two frames (A,E) movable on the same guide slideways (H), but connected by means of a kinematic system making it possible to vary their relative displacements. By means of the correction curve traced with this device, it is possible to construct a template or cam characteristic of the box examined, making it possible to correct by prior deformation in the opposite direction the deformation which the image has experienced during the shaping of the metal.
