PURPOSE:To attain accurate clamp voltage even when a load current is large by connecting a feedback circuit from a load terminal to an input terminal of an amplifier circuit via a reference voltage clamp circuit. CONSTITUTION:Only when an output voltage Vout goes to a level lower than a reference voltage Vref set by a reference voltage clamp circuit 2, the reference voltage circuit 2 inputs additively an output voltage to an amplifier 1. When the output voltage Vout is equal to the reference voltage Vref, then the output of the reference voltage clamp circuit is zero. That is, the minimum voltage of the output voltage Vout is clamped to the reference voltage Vref. Thus, the output of the clamp voltage circuit 2 is not connected directly to a load resistor RL but connected to the input of the amplifier circuit 1. Thus, a very minute current capacity has only to be provided and accurate clamp is attained. |
