PURPOSE:A skin cosmetic preventing aging, preventing wetting feeling, smooth feeling, elasticity and luter, obtained by blending a skin cosmetic base with at least one of cholestanol sulfuric ester, epicholestanol sulfuric ester and their salts. CONSTITUTION:A skin cosmetic (e.g., lotion, skin milk, skin cream, massaging cream, pack, etc.) keeping the skin in a healthy state by promoting or restoring water retention function which the skin has in itself, obtained by blending a skin cosmetic base with preferably 0.01-5wt%, especially 0.05-3wt% based on the total amounts of at least one compound selected from cholestanol sulfuric ester, epicholestanol sulfuric ester, and their salts (preferably Na salt, K salt, Ca salt, lysine salt, arginine salt, triethanol amine, etc.). |
