PURPOSE:To execute easily the accurate positioning between fiber and light guide and to improve the yield by making the interval of the fiber.guide wide at the near side of the light guide edge part and making the interval narrow taper-shaped at the far side. CONSTITUTION:The interval of a fiber.guide 4 is wide at the near side and narrow taper-shaped at the opposite side. When the fiber is inserted into the guide, a fiber outer diameter D1 is larger than a guide interval W2, therefore, the fiber is mounted on the guide. The position of the core center of the fiber is on a central line 00'. At such a time, the fiber is accommodated into the guide. The core center still mounted on a central line 00'. When a guide width W1 is wider than a fiber outer diameter D1, the positioning action in the transverse direction does not exist at the area. Since the center of the fiber core is mounted on the central line 00', the fiber center is mounted the central line 00'. Consequently, a fiber core 1a and a light guide core 3 are positioned. |
