PURPOSE:To enable graininess to be improved while maintaining proper gradation by using the first photosensitive silver halide emulsion contg. silver iodide, the second internally fogged silver halide emulsion, and the third substantially nonphotosensitive nonfogged silver halide emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The same or separate silver halide emulsion layers contain the first photosensitive silver halide emulsion contg. silver iodide, the second internally fogged silver halide emulsion having an average grain diameter of <=0.6mum, and the third substantially nonphotosensitive nonfogged silver halide emulsion having an average grain diameter of <=0.6mum, thus permitting graininess to be greatly improved without changing proper gradation. |
