PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility and the color fastness of a magenta dye image by incorporating a pyrazolo-[1,5-a]-benzimidazole type magenta type forming coupler and specific compd. into a titled material. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned material contains at least one kind of the pyrazolo-[1,5-a]-benzimidazole type magenta dye image forming coupler and at least one kind of the compd. expressed by the formula. (In the formula, R<1> denotes an aliphat. group, cycloalkyl group or aryl group, Y denotes the mere bond band or divalent hydrocarbon group necessary for forming a 5--7- membered heterocycle together with nitrogen atom. R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6>, R<7> denote respectively the hydrogen atom, aliphat, group, cycloalkyl group or aryl group.) The fastness of the magenta dye image which has heretofore the low fastness particularly to light, the heat and moisture is improved according to the above- mentioned photographic material. More specifically, the color fading to light and the generation of the Y-stain in the uncolored part as against light, heat and moisture are satisfactorily prevented. |
