PURPOSE:To provide a connecting structure for heat exchanger elements of which working at under-floor is facilitated, fixing operation is facilitated and its fixing fee is less expensive by a method wherein the connected portions of each of the heat exchanger elements are of a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:Heat exchanger elements 10 and 10' are connected through a coupling 14. The coupling 14 is of metal or plastic and has I-section having an elongated rectangular partition wall 15 and four connecting pieces 17, 18, 19 and 20 projecting as a ridge from both edges 16 and 16' extending along the longitudinal direction of the partition wall 15. The partition wall 15 of the coupling 14 is provided with a suitable number of pass-through holes 21 through which thermal medium can be passed. To the connecting pieces 17 and 18 of the coupling 14 are connected the end parts of the wall members 4 and 4' of the heat exchanger element 10, and in turn, to the connecting pieces 19 and 20 are connected the end parts of the wall members 4 and 4' of the heat exchanger element 10', respectively. The connected surfaces are rigidly fixed by a high- frequency welder and hog-jet process to prevent a leakage of the thermal medium during its circulation. |
