<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus capable of forming fine particles into removable minute water droplets by surrounding said particles by supercooled and supersaturated steam, by providing a steam supply means and a cooling- water scattering means to a case equipped with a gas suction port and a gas exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:A dust particle size increasing apparatus 1 consists of a steam supply means 12 and a cooling water scattering means 13 and the gas suction port 11a of a case 11 is communicated with a clean room R by a suction pipe 2. The steam supply means 12 consists of a steam generator 121, a pipe 122 and a spray nozzle 123. The cooling-water scattering means 13 consists of a freezer 131 for cooling water to about 3 deg.C, a pipe 132 and a spray nozzle 133. A wet electric precipitator 3 and an air conditioner 3 are connected to an exhaust port 11b. Because fine particles are utilized as flocculating nuclei to grow minute water droplets and re-evaporation is prevented, fine particles can be surely removed.</p> |
